The next online general membership meeting is Wednesday, October 13, 5:30-7 pm. We will vote to approve the Local’s budget for 2022 and run elections for Local Officer positions. Nomination details are below.

Call for New Stewards
Any member of Local 241 can volunteer as a Steward. Stewards meet once a month at the Local Executive Committee meeting. They help answer member questions, direct them to resources, and provide valuable insight into working conditions across the college. The more stewards we have, the better! We are especially looking for part-time members. Contact us for more info!
Nominations Open for All Officer Positions
Submit your nominations online! All officers are volunteers. Our Local has:
- 7 officers, who handle the day-to-day business of the Local
- 2 trustees, who audit the Local’s spending and work with the treasurer on audit reports
Who can be nominated?
Any member of the Local can be nominated as a Trustee. A trustee cannot be a steward or hold any other position
Any steward can be nominated to any officer position

- Full-time Unit Steward
- Part-time Unit Steward
